The mambo sun is a double booster with our two favorite boost types, the Treblebooster, one based on the Dallas Arbiter Rangemaster Treblebooster, (Granada) and the other on the John Hornby Skewes Rangemaster. Both in the same pedal! to make your head explode!
The Rangemaster (right) has a germanium transistor while the JHS (left) has a silicon transistor.
Their sound allows us from boosting the signal to distorting it with any of the boosters.
It also has an effects loop that allows us to introduce the rest of the pedals between the two boosters, so we can have a boost at the beginning of the chain of pedals and another at the end! the ultimate weapon!
